As one of the oldest day spas in the United States and the oldest in Houston, Sanctuary has been serving clients since 1984. Sanctuary Spa sits behind Barnaby's on South Shepherd, between Montrose and River Oaks. The neighborhood setting pairs a broad day spa menu with a particular focus on skincare. You can book a facial on its own or combine it with massage, a body scrub, a wrap, or hydrotherapy for a longer visit.
Customer comments frequently highlight estheticians who listen, explain their work, and give skin concerns individual attention. Guests also describe a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Massage options include prenatal, hot stone, and couples appointments, so the spa works for both regular self-care and a shared outing. If you're fixing to stay awhile, compare the treatment combinations and hydrotherapy options before booking.
